Christian Marclay's amazing 24 hour masterpiece, The Clock premiered at London's White Cube Gallery on October 14th 2010 to rave reviews. Red Hook, The great horror film I scored last year (2009), is being distributed by Phase 4 films. The film is now on Netflix and Amazon and available via Video-on-demand on Brighthouse, Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, Insight, and Time Warner.

Emergency Level 1 features my music in the opening title sequence. The first episode premiered on The Learning Channel at 8pm on December 27th 2009.

Also in the music department I edited, mixed and mastered a great new CD called Voice of the People by the violinist Shem Guibbory. He plays some fantastic new music by the composer Gabriella Frank as well as Shostikovich's final violin sonata. It will be released spring 2010.

Quentin goes to Broadway! The sold-out Off-Broadway drama, Irena's Vow, starring Tony nominated Tovah Feldshuh, with music and sound design by Quentin, has moved to Broadway and will open on March 29, 2009 at the Walter Kerr Theatre! See irenasvow.com for more information.

Quentin recorded, mixed and mastered the CD Songtags by the extraordinary vocalist and composer Jenny Walshe - look for the review in Wired Magazine.

Out in the City, a documentary about gay and lesbian life in New York City, was mixed and sound designed by Quentin. It also featured a song by Quentin and David Briggs. It aired on Logo in January and February 2009.

Cynthia Madansky and Angelika Brudniak's documentary, Minot, screened at MOMA in February 2009 after touring many major film festivals and winning the best short film at the Cinèma Du Rèel Festival in Europe - sound design, music edit and mix by Quentin.

Daria Martin's The Minotaur premiered at the New Museum in February 2009, sound design, music edit and mix by Quentin.

Quentin completed the score for the pilot I Died produced by Eden Productions.

Quentin is working on the score for Sean Patrick McCarthy's new feature film Uncle Stephanie, to be finished in the late spring 2009.

Isabella Rossellini's series of shorts, Green Porn are going to be shown at both the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival. They will also air on the Sundance Channel. The sound design, mix, and editing of Zeena Parkins's fine music was done at MediaNoise.

Quentin will be scoring Red Sand Media's thriller feature Red Hook starring Christina Brucato.

A pair of documentaries with sound design and mix done at MediaNoise are doing very well: Today's Man a documentary by Lizzie Gottlieb about Asperger syndrome premiered on PBS January 8, 2008. Here's a link to an article about it published in the New York Times: Today's Man

Vanessa Roth's documentary The Third Monday in October, about the high stakes of middle school student council elections, continues to show around the country. An air date is soon to be released!

The Seattle Dance Project premieres Intimacy of Strife, a 20-minute work with music by Quentin and choreography by Pat Catterson, on January 24-27, 2008 at the ACT Theatre in Seattle.

Irena's Vow, a play by screen-writer Dan Gordon and starring Tovah Feldshuh with music and sound design by Quentin is set to open Off Broadway this coming fall 2008.

Jody Sperling's Time/Lapse Dance and Quentin Chiappetta have received a generous grant from the American Music Center to create a new dance work to be performed with live music. The tentative title is "Ghosts." Performances will take place in the fall of 2007.

Quentin and David Briggs' song-writing team, Confirmed Bachelor, is working with producers Super Buddah on a new single.

Quentin just finished the score for Eden Productions' TV pilot The Healing Diaries, a comedic and informative drama about unconventional medicine.

QC's music can be heard under episodes of The First 48 and Detroit SWAT on A&E, and Decoding Disaster on The Discovery/Times Channel.
